And I saw lying on the open hand of Him Who was seated on the throne a scroll (book) written within and on the back, closed and sealed with seven seals; And I saw a strong angel announcing in a loud voice, Who is worthy to open the scroll? And [who is entitled and deserves and is morally fit] to break its seals? And no one in heaven or on earth or under the earth [in the realm of the dead, Hades] was able to open the scroll or to take a [single] look at its contents. And I wept audibly and bitterly because no one was found fit to open the scroll or to inspect it. Then one of the elders [of the heavenly Sanhedrin] said to me, Stop weeping! See, the Lion of the tribe of Judah, the Root (Source) of David, has won (has overcome and conquered)! He can open the scroll and break its seven seals! And there between the throne and the four living creatures (beings) and among the elders [of the heavenly Sanhedrin] I saw a Lamb standing, as though it had been slain, with seven horns and with seven eyes, which are the seven Spirits of God [the sevenfold Holy Spirit] Who have been sent [on duty far and wide] into all the earth. He then went and took the scroll from the right hand of Him Who sat on the throne. And when He had taken the scroll, the four living creatures and the twenty-four elders [of the heavenly Sanhedrin] prostrated themselves before the Lamb. Each was holding a harp (lute or guitar), and they had golden bowls full of incense (fragrant spices and gums for burning), which are the prayers of God’s people (the saints). Revelation 5:1-8 AMPC
The slaying of my Lord, the shedding of His blood, not just any blood, but the sacrificial blood, voluntarily offered to assuage the Father’s wrath against my rebellion against Him was the key to
- Opening the scroll
- Looking at the scroll
- Loosing of the seals and reading the scroll to make known what is written in it.
The scroll contains the purposes and counsels of God regarding the earth in the end of time. In it are the secrets of redemption, glorification of the saints to God’s pre-ordained status as sub-rulers and priests unto the Almighty God, the Yahweh Elohim.
Do not give up now. Stay with Him, love Him, fellowship with Him and the secret will be shown to you. Let the cry of your heart be “I want to fulfil and experience all You created me to be.” The wordings of this song, I speak Jesus, says it all
I just wanna speak the name of Jesus
Over every heart and every mind
Cause I know there is peace within Your presence
I speak Jesus
I just wanna speak the name of Jesus
Till every dark addiction starts to break
Declaring there is hope and there is freedom
I speak Jesus
Cause Your name is power
Your name is healing
Your name is life
Break every stronghold
Shine through the shadows
Burn like a fire
In Revelation 10, we understand further the things written in the scroll, now turned little book:
- the thrill of knowledge of revelations
- the agony of being a partaker of its pains; and
- the responsibility of declaration of its warnings for the repentance and redemption of people
With the preview of what the truly called who submit to His demand will of necessity pass through, we ought to stand strong, for nothing happening to us in the pursuit of His purpose should take us by surprise anymore.
The call for each of us is as Paul declared in Philippians 3:7-15. And indeed, the pains and suffering necessarily must bring us to the point of sighing and groaning for the iniquity of the land (Ezekiel 9:4) and not murmuring after the style of Philippians 3:12b-16. But we must hold on to the progress we have already made.
I run with passion into His abundance so that I may reach the purpose for which Christ Jesus laid hold of me to make me his own. I don’t depend on my own strength to accomplish this; however, I do have one compelling focus: I forget all of the past as I fasten my heart to the future instead. I run straight for the divine invitation of reaching the heavenly goal and gaining the victory-prize through the anointing of Jesus. So, let all who are fully mature have this same passion, and if anyone is not yet gripped by these desires, God will reveal it to them. And let us all advance together to reach this victory-prize, following one path with one passion. Philippians 3:12b-16 (TPT)
Shalom.
