When impatience regarding what you genuinely want to have is unrestrained, you will drift from the sure promise of God.
Keep in mind that our Lord’s extraordinary patience simply means more opportunity for salvation
Today’s admonition calls for self-examination regarding our relationship with the Lord. Who am I? Do I show my love to God by service or by intimacy with Him, sitting at His feet!
I encourage every elect to enter this night season not petitioning, not supplicating, just singing the song of blessing of our God.
Therefore we ought to give the more earnest heed to the things which we have heard, lest at any time we should let them slip.
Satan’s master weapon of discouragement can lead us to utterances that are contrary to God! and which we may not mean! In the time of discouragement, turn to God immediately for help.
Many today crowd around the Bible, the written Word but only those who “touch” the Scriptures in faith receive its promises, just like the sick woman received her healing.
The apostle Paul wrote, “Godliness with contentment is great gain… For the love of money is a root of all kinds of evil” (1 Timothy 6:6,10). These verses remind us of where our priorities are to be placed.
When it looks like God is silent, what do we do? Turn our backs and take our own decisions? Saul did that and he terminated his relationship with God irreversibly!
