As we conclude these admonitions In The Steps Of The Leader, are you wanting in the beatitudes highlighted so far? There is no need to despair for the Great Shepherd is ever at hand to help the repentant and the willing!

Do you remember that song, I have very big God o, He’s always by my side? Knowing this and that He’s always before you, the question you need to answer is: what is my view of this Shepherd God?

A. W. Tozer wrote “a low view of God is the cause of a hundred lesser evils; a high view of God is the solution to tens of thousands of temporal problems.” What an illustration of what it takes to see Mark 11:22-24; and even better expressed in Paul’s prayer for the Ephesians in Ephesians 1:17-19.

I ask—ask the God of our Master, Jesus Christ, the God of glory—to make you intelligent and discerning in knowing him personally, your eyes focused and clear, so that you can see exactly what it is he is calling you to do, grasp the immensity of this glorious way of life he has for his followers, oh, the utter extravagance of his work in us who trust him—endless energy, boundless strength! Ephesians 1:17-19 (MSG)

What an affirmation that we cannot imagine what we are capable of, if we yield control of our lives, thoughts and utterances to God. His power initiates a chain of reaction that makes all mountains move! Will you change your view of our God? You must if you must triumph and be more than a conqueror in every situation. Shalom.
