A Word For Every Man Of God In The ‘Limelight’ (Part 2)—Psalm 102:11-12; 1 Peter 1:24

The reality of life of man is that change is inevitable, that’s the way life is set! The causes of the change are many and varied, and Solomon captured the unchangeable reality in Proverbs 27:24 (AMPC), ‘For riches are not forever; does a crown endure to all generations?

The scriptures are replete with this counsel:

My days are like an evening shadow that stretches out and declines [with the sun]; and I am withered like grass. But You, O Lord, are enthroned forever; and the fame of Your name endures to all generations. Psalm 102:11-12 (APMC)

For all flesh (mankind) is like grass, and all its glory (honor) like [the] flower of grass. The grass withers and the flower drops off, but the Word of the Lord (divine instruction, the Gospel) endures forever. And this Word is the good news which was preached to you. 1 Peter 1:24-25 (AMPC)

Only the Lord God of heaven and His word are unchanging. Whoever you think you are, whatever you think you own, what status you arrogate to yourself, be humble, acknowledge the Lord your maker. Change is inevitable, make your landing soft! Selah.
