While we may not have been present at the event of Matthew 17:5, because we have believed, John 1:12, I am empowered to share this new state of sonship as 1 John 5:10 (TPT) attests:

Those who believe in the Son of God have the living testimony in their hearts. Those who don’t believe have made God out to be a liar by not believing the testimony God has confirmed about his Son

Even so does Paul declare in 1 Corinthians 6:19-20 (TPT)

Have you forgotten that your body is now the sacred temple of the Spirit of Holiness, who lives in you? You don’t belong to yourself any longer, for the gift of God, the Holy Spirit, lives inside your sanctuary. You were God’s expensive purchase, paid for with tears of blood, so by all means, then, use your body to bring glory to God!

And again, more powerfully in Galatians 2:20 (TPT).

My old identity has been co-crucified with Christ and no longer lives. And now the essence of this new life is no longer mine, for the Anointed One lives his life through me—we live in union as one! My new life is empowered by the faith of the Son of God who loves me so much that he gave himself for me, dispensing his life into mine!

Beloved child of God, the only witness that counts comes with you living in union with Him, Christ as one, and then Philippians 1:10,11 (NLT) caps it

For I want you to understand what really matters, so that you may live pure and blameless lives until the day of Christ’s return. May you always be filled with the fruit of your salvation—the righteous character produced in your life by Jesus Christ—for this will bring much glory and praise to God.

With this weight of evidence will the Father acknowledge you as He did the Christ? Look in the mirror and see if you are in alignment, Shalom.
