Good morning dear friends.
What a time we’re living in but I want to bring you good news that this is the time to glory in the Cross.
Ephesians 2:11-19 and Hebrews 10:12-14 demonstrate to each one of us that through the judgment of sin, borne by Jesus on the Cross of Calvary, He reconciled each one of us to God. There is therefore communion and peace in every soul that personally accepted this gift of His sacrifice. If you did, you can be assured of new communion in terms of a relationship with God and peace in your heart. Furthermore everyone that has become a partaker of this grace has a new understanding in the ways of the Eternal God.
1 Corinthians 2 from verse 9 speaks in this manner (I urge you to think carefully through these words):
But as it is written, Eye hath not seen, nor ear heard, neither have entered into the heart of man, the things which God hath prepared for them that love him.
Do you love the Lord? There are things that God has prepared for you.
But God hath revealed them unto us by his Spirit: for the Spirit searcheth all things, yea, the deep things of God… Now we have received, not the spirit of the world, but the spirit which is of God; that we might know the things that are freely given to us of God (1 Corinthians 2:10, 12).
The spirit of the world today is peddling fear. Indeed Corona Virus is lethal. But for those that are under the blood of Jesus, who are in the secret place of the Most High, you can be sure that as you abide in Him you are covered, that you are spared.
The Word tells us, a thousand shall fall at our side, ten thousand at our right hand but it would come near us because He will protect us from the pestilence that fly by day and the terrors that go about at night. These are the graces that God has spoken for those who know His way.
Now we have received, not the spirit of the world, but the spirit which is of God; that we might know the things that are freely given to us of God (1 Corinthians 2:12).
And this is what I’m saying to you – the things that God has freely given to us.
So my dear friends, obey the basic laws of health – wash your hands, clean your surroundings, keep yourself safe. Above all stay under the blood of Jesus. Stay in the assurance of peace, in the communion that He has won for you. Remain blessed.
Peace unto you in the name of Jesus (Amen).
