Who layeth the beams of his chambers in the waters: who maketh the clouds his chariot: who walketh upon the wings of the wind. Psalm 104:3
There is none like unto the God of Jeshurun, who rideth upon the heaven in thy help, and in his excellency on the sky. Deuteronomy 33:26
Our world, the environment in which we are conditioned to living in, is fixated on matter that we can touch and handle, just as Apostle John alluded to in 1 John 1:1. Looking beyond our world into His, the world of the Lord our God, our Saviour, and the world to which we have been brought – Colossians 1:12-13 – things are different. That world is the reverse of what we are used to, the world where He rides upon the wind, and clouds are His chariots! See our scripture texts of today.
If the eternal God could walk upon the wind, how will He not walk upon water! Yet for just one moment, Peter walked on water, until his gaze shifted to the materiality that surrounded him, what he was used and accustomed to took him over! These are the times and seasons of restoration of all things, and we can begin to experience the powers of the kingdom to come, if we will believe. Do you believe, enough to do as occasions demand when you have to walk upon the stormy waters? Selah
