Moreover, brethren, I declare unto you the gospel which I preached unto you, which also ye have received, and wherein ye stand; By which also ye are saved, if ye keep in memory what I preached unto you, unless ye have believed in vain. For I delivered unto you first of all that which I also received, how that Christ died for our sins according to the scriptures; And that he was buried, and that he rose again the third day according to the scriptures: And that he was seen of Cephas, then of the twelve. 1 Corinthians 15:1-5

The minas (Luke 19:12,13) given equally to all of us as believers is stated in Matthew 28:19, 20. As the Lord called each of those servants to give account, so shall we be called to give account to the Lord on our fruitfulness. More than that however is the requirement stated in John15:16 which Apostle Paul expanded in our text of today. Not only must the gospel of the kingdom be preached and received, it is a requirement that those who have so done, stand therein. Are we consciously pursuing the Master’s mandate fully?
