Consider the Andromeda galaxy within the breadth of the gospel – we see the hand and power of God in creation and in the story of redemption we see His heart.
For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life. John 3:16
John 3:16 is an incredible summary of this truth.
Let’s consider us, me and you, in relation to just this world as depicted in this article, 11 Fascinating Facts About Our Milky Way Galaxy and this short video below:
Yet this awesomeness is summarised in the scriptures, in Genesis 1:16, He made the stars also! What an understatement! Such summaries as Psalm 147:4 and Isaiah 40:26 speak that in their numbers, beyond man’s imagination, each has a name. Oh that the eyes of our hearts be opened to understand such great power in action to help us who believe in Him.
He counts the stars and calls them all by name. Psalm 147:4 NLT
Look up into the heavens. Who created all the stars? He brings them out like an army, one after another, calling each by its name. Because of His great power and incomparable strength, not a single one is missing. Isaiah 40:26 NLT
So beloved child of the living God, sit back and ponder on the words spoken in Ephesians 1:19-20 and Philippians 3:21.
I also pray that you will understand the incredible greatness of God’s power for us who believe him. This is the same mighty power that raised Christ from the dead… Ephesians 1:19-20 NLT
He will take our weak mortal bodies and change them into glorious bodies like his own, using the same power with which he will bring everything under his control. Philippians 3:21 NLT

Echt-Hiel Lazarus
At times we see God as infinite and larger than this ephemeral and temporal life, that we just can’t really see him. And at times he humbles himself to a ‘minuscule point’ in which we cannot see him.
We are so blind and ignorant as men to see him and understand what he is: just like the three blind men giving their observation of an elephant.
Thank you for that simple sermon sir!
