Continuing on the matters of the moment, let’s reflect deeply on our two texts for today and place them side by side our concluding thoughts from yesterday’s admonition viz.
- Psalm 139:17-18 (TPT) – Every single moment you are thinking of me!
How precious and wonderful to consider
that you cherish me constantly in your every thought!
O God, your desires toward me are more
than the grains of sand on every shore!
When I awake each morning, you’re still with me.
- Jeremiah 29:10-11 (MSG) – This is God’s Word on the subject: “As soon as Babylon’s seventy years are up and not a day before, I’ll show up and take care of you as I promised and bring you back home. I know what I’m doing. I have it all planned out—plans to take care of you, not abandon you, plans to give you the future you hope for.
Do you believe these words? What assurance that we are individually in His thoughts and more, that at this time in particular just as was the case for Judah in Babylonian captivity, He has plans for each of us to bring us home to Himself.
There is only one thing, one thing each of us must do now and persistently until our deliverance is come – Psalms 65:2-7 (TLB):
- And because you answer prayer, all mankind will come to you with their requests. Though sins fill our hearts, you forgive them all. How greatly to be envied are those you have chosen to come and live with you within the holy tabernacle courts! What joys await us among all the good things there. With dread deeds and awesome power you will defend us from our enemies, O God who saves us. You are the only hope of all mankind throughout the world and far away upon the sea. He formed the mountains by his mighty strength. He quiets the raging oceans and the entire world’s clamour!
This is time to see Isaiah 26: 20-21 (TLB) activated, for courage to stand and for heart to hold to His counsel viz – Go home, my people, and lock the doors! Hide for a little while until the Lord’s wrath against your enemies has passed. Look! The Lord is coming from the heavens to punish the people of the earth for their sins. The earth will no longer hide the murderers. The guilty will be found.
Will you heed this counsel? Selah
