Make a comparison of Isaiah 40:12 and Romans 1:20 regarding The Infinite God
Isaiah wrote:
Who has measured the waters of the sea in the hollow of his hand and used his hand-width to mark off the heavens? Who knows the exact weight of all the dust of the earth and has weighed all the mountains and hills on his scale?
Paul wrote:
Opposition to truth cannot be excused on the basis of ignorance, because from the creation of the world, the invisible qualities of God’s nature have been made visible, such as his eternal power and transcendence. He has made his wonderful attributes easily perceived, for seeing the visible makes us understand the invisible. So then, this leaves everyone without excuse.
We see striking lessons to which neither science nor human logic has an answer. If we compare this with the oracles of Agur in Proverbs 30:4 (TPT):
Who is it that travels back and forth from the heavenly realm to the earth? Who controls the wind as it blows and holds it in his fists? Who tucks the rain into the cloak of his clouds? Who stretches out the skyline from one vista to the other? What is his name? And what is the name of his Son? Who can tell me?
The Lord Jesus provided the answer to this question in John 3:13 –
And no man hath ascended up to heaven, but he that came down from heaven, even the Son of man which is in heaven.
Herein we see the foundation of the mystery spoken to by Apostle Paul in his letter to Timothy in 1 Timothy 3:16, the same that the Lord was sharing with Nicodemus. While He was on the earth ministering, Jesus was also in heaven in the spirit realm.
Being in two places at the same time is also the privilege given to every believer. We are at the same time seated with Christ in the heavenly realm, but also living our life on earth to please him. This is the reason for our cry of caution to all who care to listen. This is what it means to be “in Christ.” – Ephesians 2:6; Colossians 3:1–5. Are you in Christ or are you in the world? In the realm of the Spirit, heaven and earth are one for the true believer in the manner of conduct, conversation and living. Therefore beloved, examine yourself if you truly are in the faith. Selah.
