Can Your Crisis Be An Opportunity?

Hezekiah’s story in the 2 Chronicles 32 text demonstrated how our crisis becomes God’s opportunity. The Lord reinforced this lesson in our text for today.

Now as Jesus passed by, He saw a man who was blind from birth. And His disciples asked Him, saying, “Rabbi, who sinned, this man or his parents, that he was born blind?” Jesus answered, “Neither this man nor his parents sinned, but that the works of God should be revealed in him.”John 9:1-2 NKJV

We would rather not be an ‘inspiration’ where it requires pain on our part; yet when painful times come, they are perfect crisis opportunities for others to be amazed at God’s working in our lives.

Beloved, it is not only the physically healed who inspire others to trust in God but also those who in crisis can sing a new song of praise to Yahweh Elohim in spite of their circumstances.

I waited and waited and waited some more, patiently, knowing God would come through for me. Then, at last, he bent down and listened to my cry. He stooped down to lift me out of danger from the desolate pit I was in, out of the muddy mess I had fallen into. Now he’s lifted me up into a firm, secure place and steadied me while I walk along his ascending path. A new song for a new day rises up in me every time I think about how he breaks through for me! Ecstatic praise pours out of my mouth until everyone hears how God has set me free. Many will see his miracles; they’ll stand in awe of God and fall in love with him!Psalm 40:1-3 (TPT)

Can you let your crisis be His opportunity? Selah.
