So should we ask, what benefits have you got from six weeks of lockdown?

Social media was agog with memes of Noah and his family in the ark, Israel being invited into the chamber of safety in Isaiah 26:20 and others that would move a disciplined mind to thoughtful action.

In the New Testament alone there are a score of Scriptures that speak to actions that taken, become benefits.

The raison d’etre of government may have been protection from being infected by and spreading the virus, for us it certainly ought to be more!

Brethren it’s time to learn anew from the Master, as He attested by words to all in Matthew 11:25-26, specifically to the chosen in Luke 10:42 and by action in several scriptures. In being called disciples, they were chosen, empowered to heal and show compassion; taught the principles of God’s Kingdom and living the same on earth and shown the details of God’s plan for the redemption of the fallen creation. These are the benefits of solitude. Can you speak to attaining any? It’s not too late, but awake you sleeper. Shalom.
