Date & Time

7.00pm to 8.00pm – Friday, April 10th 2020

7.00 am to 8.00am – Saturday, April 11th 2020

Prayer Points for Friday, April 10th and Saturday, April 11th 2020

(1) For those affected by the COVID-19 the

  • The sick
  • Those who suffered the loss of loved ones
  • Those that suffered loss of income and
  • All who are in distress grappling with fear and uncertainty of the future

(2)  For the medical personnel, doctors, nurses and caregivers who are directly exposed being in the frontline, treating those who are infected.

(3) For leaders of nations that they lead wisely in these times. They are stressed and mistakes are being made. Let’s pray that GOD’s Spirit touches their hearts with His wisdom to make wise and effective decisions; and that they be subject to GOD’s instructions for making just and righteous decisions.

(4) That this season may pass quickly; that COVID-19 will not hand over the heads of peoples of all nation indefinitely. That this time must be a period of awakening of all peoples to the reality of eternal things, not just a passing phase but that they commit their lives to CHRIST and be in HIS Kingdom.

(5) Not knowing what the future post pandemic looks like, let’s ask the LORD to overrule the plans of Satan and his agenda, that the gospel be not hindered. That whatever rules and laws are put in place; they must make for us to live godly lives, and that GOD’s grace abounding will bind all of Satan’s efforts.

Added specifically for Nigeria, we ask prayers for:

(1) Our leaders, from President to his cabinet and advisers, the members of the national assembly, the state Governors, their Commissioners and advisers, the members of the state assemblies down to local governments that:

a. Their hearts be opened to receiving and executing instructions from GOD in the handling of the affairs of the nation during this time of crisis;

b. That the fear of GOD may prevail in their hearts distributing relief with righteousness and equity to the needy lest we add iniquity to iniquity, that they be given wisdom to handle the economic challenges that the pandemic has brought upon the nation and

c. That they be restrained from taking decisions averse to the body of CHRIST in the country.

(2) The church in Nigeria that we turn to seeking GOD to get HIS leading and guidance and that the leaders in particular recognise the responsibility of GODs people into HIS Will, not to lead them to hell. That church leaders recognise their role in not opening the church willingly to persecution from the Government.
