As prophesied by Daniel 12:4,9,10b (AMPC) advances in science, globalization facilitated by enhanced ease of transportation and settlement of economic status have made this present world so persuasive that the thought or speech of another world is like speaking ‘Greek’ to many; yet on the other hand there will be an increase in the knowledge of God’s purposes for those who earnestly seek to understand God’s purposes.

But you, O Daniel, shut up the words and seal the Book until the time of the end. [Then] many shall run to and fro and search anxiously [through the Book], and knowledge [of God’s purposes as revealed by His prophets] shall be increased and become great…And he [the angel] said, Go your way, Daniel, for the words are shut up and sealed till the time of the end. Many shall purify themselves and make themselves white and be tried, smelted, and refined, but the wicked shall do wickedly. And none of the wicked shall understand, but the teachers and those who are wise shall understand. Daniel 12:4,9,10 AMPC

The Lord in John 8:30-32 threw a curveball that elaborates the differentiation that Daniel recorded above. All believers are not, repeat not, disciples! Believers contend with God on His declarations, but disciples, what challenges of understanding they may have, simply follow the Master’s instruction! (Luke 5:5)

Where then is home for the Lord? My Father’s house has many dwelling places. If it were otherwise, I would tell you plainly, because I go to prepare a place for you. And when everything is ready, I will come back and take you to myself so that you will be where I am. And you already know the way to the place where I’m going (John 14:2-24 (TPT),for if the world is not home for Him, and He promises to take the disciples to His home, there must be a place that He is promising the disciples for home.
 
Home is Heaven as the scriptures severally affirm. There is a heaven that is the home for the Eternal God, the Everlasting Father, to whom we are taught to make supplications—Pray like this: ‘Our Beloved Father, dwelling in the heavenly realms, may the glory of your name be the center on which our lives turn. Manifest your kingdom realm, and cause your every purpose to be fulfilled on earth, just as it is in heaven’ (Matthew 6:9-10 (TPT).
 
We glean from the above:

1. That home for the believer-disciple is in the heavenly realm,
2. That the heavenly kingdom realm should be manifest on earth—I have commissioned them to represent me just as you commissioned me to represent you (John 17:18 (TPT) and
3. That the Father’s established purpose be fulfilled on earth just as in heaven.

That Heaven is the HOME for the Father, and consequently the place promised by the Lord Jesus to the believer-disciple rests the question of where is home. Other scriptures speaking to this are John 13:33; John 14:2-3, 28; Matthew 5:16, 48; Matthew 7:11; Matthew 12:50; Matthew 18:14,19; Matthew 23:9 and more.
 
May I then ask you if you are a believer-disciple with a heavenly home view or are you an earth-dweller?
