We conclude the article we started last in the last posting:

The prophet Joel foretold the great army of God’s judgment which would devastate the land of Israel. He said, “A fire devoureth before them; and behind them a flame burneth: the land is as the garden of Eden before them, and behind them a desolate wilderness; yea, and nothing shall escape them” (Joel 2:3). In this same manner, the unclean spirits of perversion which are marching though our land are claiming the children of the preacher, the teacher, and the plumber along with the children of the politician, the movie star, and the billionaire. Neither Democrat nor Republican nor yet APC nor PDP or Labour Party is immune.
 
God gave only one answer which would turn back His army of judgment. He said, “Therefore also now, saith the LORD, turn ye even to me with all your heart, and with fasting, and with weeping, and with mourning: And rend your heart, and not your garments, and turn unto the LORD your God: for he is gracious and merciful, slow to anger, and of great kindness, and repenteth him of the evil” (Joel 2:12-13).

We can stand by while our children and grandchildren are consumed by this scourge upon our land, or we can humble ourselves before God in true repentance and true faith in Christ Jesus.

If our moms and dads, grandfathers and grandmothers, politicians and preachers will indeed humble themselves with broken hearts towards God, His promise is “I will remove far off from you the northern army, and will drive him into a land barren and desolate, with his face toward the east sea, and his hinder part toward the utmost sea, and his stink shall come up, and his ill savour shall come up, because he hath done great things. Fear not, O land; be glad and rejoice: for the LORD will do great things” (Joel 2:20-21). It is not the ensnared children of America which must be removed from the land, but the vile spirit which has ensnared them. Some may think this impossible, but remember “the Lord will do great things!””

So dearly beloved children, recognise that God has something greater than this world you are so eager to enter offers! What you listened to is the reality of the deceitful gain that you will be faced with whichever country you go to after here. But God has greater for you as He promised for these times—Acts 2:17-20 (GNT)—This is what I will do in the last days, God says: I will pour out my Spirit on everyone. Your sons and daughters will proclaim my message; your young men will see visions, and your old men will have dreams. Yes, even on my servants, both men and women, I will pour out my Spirit in those days, and they will proclaim my message. I will perform miracles in the sky above and wonders on the earth below. There will be blood, fire, and thick smoke; the sun will be darkened, and the moon will turn red as blood, before the great and glorious Day of the Lord comes.

Apostle John caught the steer and wrote in 1 John 2:12-17 (GNT)—I write to you, my children, because your sins are forgiven for the sake of Christ. I write to you, fathers, because you know him who has existed from the beginning. I write to you, young people, because you have defeated the Evil One. I write to you, my children, because you know the Father. I write to you, fathers, because you know him who has existed from the beginning. I write to you, young people, because you are strong; the word of God lives in you, and you have defeated the Evil One. Do not love the world or anything that belongs to the world. If you love the world, you do not love the Father. Everything that belongs to the world—what the sinful self-desires, what people see and want, and everything in this world that people are so proud of—none of this comes from the Father; it all comes from the world. The world and everything in it that people desire is passing away; but those who do the will of God live forever.

Seeing the sequence of God’s order of the power function for the last days, God’s lead are your sons and daughters, little wonder they are Satan’s primary target at this time. Children, like the four Hebrew teenagers, you have a choice to make, a choice to stay true to the God of heaven, the sure pathway to godly good life or go the way of the god of this world, Satan, and you end up deluded as you heard. And dear parents, you will give account as to what you did with God’s heritage handed to your care. This responsibility goes beyond your speech, but the examples you set in the way they see you live, humbling your hearts towards God, you will have saved yourselves and the children from the wrath to come.

May the grace of God open your hearts to these realities, abounding upon you and guiding you in your choices in the days ahead. We will continue this foundation laying before we enter into the two families that will be our case studies. Shalom.
