The Triumph of Faith (Part 1)

We continue our examination of the life and response of Esther to the travail of a people. To do what she did, she had to be reminded that she also was Jewish, in a pattern that fit what the Lord Jesus Christ had to do as recorded in the letter to the Hebrews.

And they told to Mordecai Esther’s words. Then Mordecai commanded to answer Esther, Think not with thyself that thou shalt escape in the king’s house, more than all the Jews. For if thou altogether holdest thy peace at this time, then shall there enlargement and deliverance arise to the Jews from another place; but thou and thy father’s house shall be destroyed: and who knoweth whether thou art come to the kingdom for such a time as this? Then Esther bade them return Mordecai this answer,Go, gather together all the Jews that are present in Shushan, and fast ye for me, and neither eat nor drink three days, night or day: I also and my maidens will fast likewise; and so will I go in unto the king, which is not according to the law: and if I perish, I perish. So Mordecai went his way, and did according to all that Esther had commanded him. Esther 4:12-16

Hebrews 2:17

Wherefore in all things it behoved him to be made like unto his brethren, that he might be a merciful and faithful high priest in things pertaining to God, to make reconciliation for the sins of the people.

Hebrews 4:15

For we have not an high priest which cannot be touched with the feeling of our infirmities; but was in all points tempted like as we are, yet without sin.

Interrogating the steps Esther took, what evidence did she have that the supplications she solicited of all the Jews was heard? None other than the prophetic utterances of God through His prophets, Isaiah, Ezekiel, and Jeremiah, that He was not done with Judah and that He would visit them again bringing them back from captivity. And here is the lesson for us, learning to war, do our battles using the prophetic utterances of God as weapon. Paul admonished Timothy in 1 Timothy 1:18-19 (TPT)

So Timothy, my son, I am entrusting you with this responsibility, in keeping with the very first prophecies that were spoken over your life, and are now in the process of fulfillment in this great work of ministry, in keeping with the prophecies spoken over you. With this encouragement use your prophecies as weapons as you wage spiritual warfare by faith and with a clean conscience. For there are many who reject these virtues and are now destitute of the true faith.

It is time to use those prophetic utterances spoken upon the young ones in seeking God’s intervention for their deliverance. We show two here to initiate this engagement of the adversary of the souls of our children.

Children born to a young couple will one day rise to protect and provide for their parents. Happy will be the couple who has many of them! A household full of children will not bring shame on your name but victory when you face your enemies, for your offspring will have influence and honor to prevail on your behalf! Psalm 127:4-5 (TPT)

Step down from heaven, Lord, and come down! Make the mountains melt at your touch. Loose your fiery lightning flashes and scatter your enemies. Overthrow them with your terrifying judgments. Reach down from your heavens and rescue me from this hell and deliver me from these dark powers. They speak nothing but lies; their words are pure deceit. Nothing they say can ever be trusted. My God, I will sing you a brand-new song! The harp inside my heart will make music to you! I will sing of you, the one who gives victory to kings—the one who rescues David, your loving servant, from the fatal sword Deliver me and save me from these dark powers who speak nothing but lies. Their words are pure deceit, and you can’t trust anything they say. Deliver us! Then our homes will be happy. Our sons will grow up as strong, sturdy men and our daughters with graceful beauty, royally fashioned as for a palace. Our barns will be filled to the brim, overflowing with the fruits of our harvest. Our fields will be full of sheep and cattle, too many to count, and our livestock will not miscarry their young. Our enemies will not invade our land, and there’ll be no breach in our walls. What bliss we experience when these blessings fall! The people who love and serve our God will be happy indeed! Psalm 144:5-15 (TPT)

It’s time to battle with these and a clear conscience the dark powers operating as prosperity preachers, entertainment idols and political brigands that present bad examples prompting the desire to get rich quick without work! It’s time to wake up from this sleep of death. Selah
