Let us start with the first two verses of our text today

You can enter God’s Kingdom only through the narrow gate. The highway to hell is broad, and its gate is wide for the many who choose that way. But the gateway to life is very narrow and the road is difficult, and only a few ever find it. Matthew 7:13-14 NLT

There is a choice to make between the Truth which has the narrow and unique interpretation as against the prevalent wide, permissive, culture, time and circumstance varied interpretation. Religions justify their claims of all of them leading to the same God and today increasing number of ‘Christians’ have become accomplices to such delusion, ignoring that it is written – ‘for there is one God and One mediator between God and man.’

For, There is one God and one Mediator who can reconcile God and humanity—the man Christ Jesus. 1 Timothy 2:5 NLT

The command to all men is to enter by Him for He is the that narrow way; but they must find Him first, yet He is not hiding Himself today if those who know Him will honour His command.

Remember the Ethiopian eunuch of great authority, and the conversation recorded in Acts 8:26-40. The command to Philip was ‘arise’ and the scripture testified that Philip ‘arose.’ Where are the Philips of our times who in their daily courses are open to the leading of the Holy Spirit seeking out men who are searching for the Truth; they are crying aloud by their frustrations, ‘how can I find my way to THE WAY except some man guide me’! Oh, awake you sleeper –

This is why the Scripture says, “Arise, you sleeper! Rise up from your coffin and the Anointed One will shine his light into you!” Ephesians 5:14 TPT

– and let the light of His spirit shine into you revealing to who He is sending you daily through this year. Selah
