And he said unto me, My grace is sufficient for thee: for my strength is made perfect in weakness. Most gladly therefore will I rather glory in my infirmities, that the power of Christ may rest upon me. Therefore I take pleasure in infirmities, in reproaches, in necessities, in persecutions, in distresses for Christ’s sake: for when I am weak, then am I strong. 2 Corinthians 12:9-10
Have you yielded to the sweeping waves of prayer contractors and unrepentant false teachers because of the ever pressing troubles of life? What about the burdens of others you are compelled to carry?
Listen beloved, in this fallen world trouble is an ever present reality and there is no way to escape its grip. We as believers MUST ALWAYS turn to the Lord, praying that He will change the situation and release us individually from its clutches. What hinders you from calling on the name of the Lord by yourself, knowing the truth of 1 Timothy 2:5 and Hebrews 10:19-23?
For there is one God, and one mediator between God and men, the man Christ Jesus. 1 Timothy 2:5
Having therefore, brethren, boldness to enter into the holiest by the blood of Jesus, By a new and living way, which he hath consecrated for us, through the veil, that is to say, his flesh; And having an high priest over the house of God; Let us draw near with a true heart in full assurance of faith, having our hearts sprinkled from an evil conscience, and our bodies washed with pure water. Let us hold fast the profession of our faith without wavering; (for he is faithful that promised;) Hebrews 10:19-23
Deal with what hinders you instead of falling prey as Paul warned his son Timothy in his letter, 2 Timothy 4:3,4 – For the time will come when they will not endure sound doctrine; but after their own lusts shall they heap to themselves teachers, having itching ears; And they shall turn away their ears from the truth, and shall be turned unto fables.
This is the reason for the call for reflection. Will you heed this call before you are drowned? Selah
