Reflections On Prayer (Part 9)—Gleanings From Apostle Paul’s Prayers

Apostle Paul was a strong proponent of prayer, exhorting us to “rejoice always, pray without ceasing; in everything give thanks; for this is God’s will for you in Christ Jesus” (1 Thessalonians 5:16-18 NASB). Today we throw ourselves a challenge of individually looking in depth at the 32 prayers Paul prayed that are listed in the Bible. We make it easy, listing the scripture references, encouraging each of us to take each block of scriptures and distilling the object of these prayers, and their practice as we have done over the last eight sessions.
