Today, would you please call to mind that:
- You were brought into this place of privilege by His grace through His death and resurrection (Romans 5:1-2 NLT)
- His love made you His child, and as you behold Him face to face, you become more like Him, different from the image of the world.
Why then should you pursue or desire the image the world has and peddles? And lose the singular chance of seeing Him when He manifests Himself, because when He appears you have to be like Him, to see Him as He is!
Behold, what manner of love the Father hath bestowed upon us, that we should be called the sons of God: therefore the world knoweth us not, because it knew him not. Beloved, now are we the sons of God, and it doth not yet appear what we shall be: but we know that, when he shall appear, we shall be like him; for we shall see him as he is. And every man that hath this hope in him purifieth himself, even as he is pure. 1 John 3:1-3
Cultivate being like Him – purity, holiness (1 John 3:1-3; 2 Corinthians 3:18-4:2). This is the pathway to fulfilling the Lord’s prayer in Matthew 6:10; being the vehicle conveying and effecting His will on the earth. Note particularly the process in 2 Corinthians 4:6.
For God, who commanded the light to shine out of darkness, hath shined in our hearts, to give the light of the knowledge of the glory of God in the face of Jesus Christ. 2 Corinthians 4:6
Is your revived, renewed, recreated spirit man united with God’s Spirit now dictating and rightly instructing your soul and communicating to your flesh God’s will and desire? Only then is fulfilled that which is written in Matthew 6:22-23? Shed and burn the world’s accolades and affirmation as you press deeper into the veil.
Thus the call for purity is an imperative (1 John 3:4-6) and the consequence of lawlessness is spoken to in Matthew 7:20-23 – rejection at the final stage.
Wherefore by their fruits ye shall know them. Not every one that saith unto me, Lord, Lord, shall enter into the kingdom of heaven; but he that doeth the will of my Father which is in heaven. Many will say to me in that day, Lord, Lord, have we not prophesied in thy name? and in thy name have cast out devils? and in thy name done many wonderful works? And then will I profess unto them, I never knew you: depart from me, ye that work iniquity. Matthw 7:20-23
Note the key word “know” you and be reminded of the process of conception and birthing! What you birth by way of ministry is the result of the seed placed and incubated in you.
Saint or minister check yourself, the end is at hand! Will you be rejected? You have the opportunity to repent today and let Christ into your heart again. Selah.
