And hope maketh not ashamed; because the love of God is shed abroad in our hearts by the Holy Ghost which is given unto us. Romans 5:5

What makes attainment of all that we highlighted yesterday possible is the Holy Spirit whose overflowing presence in my (your) heart saturates us with the assurance of God’s love. Here the real poser, is the Holy Spirit given a chance to express His presence or you’ve crowded Him out with the daily activities and concerns regarding those discordant tones? Then you understand why Paul so emphasised to you and to me as he exhorted the Ephesians concerning such difficult days as we are witnessing (Ephesians 5:15-20).

So be careful how you live. Don’t live like fools, but like those who are wise. Make the most of every opportunity in these evil days. Don’t act thoughtlessly, but understand what the Lord wants you to do. Don’t be drunk with wine, because that will ruin your life. Instead, be filled with the Holy Spirit, singing psalms and hymns and spiritual songs among yourselves, and making music to the Lord in your hearts. And give thanks for everything to God the Father in the name of our Lord Jesus Christ. Ephesians 5:15-20 NLT

To stand and be an overcomer now, you need the Holy Spirit daily to express Himself in you and control you; and you will be begin to see how He changes everything because His presence fills your heart with the assurance of the love of God (Romans 15:13)!
