Let us be mindful of the presumption of thinking we are speaking for God based on experience in dealing with children of God who are hurting. Below is wise counsel:
- To those for whom times have been like a raging storm, encourage them that the storm never lasts for ever; remind them that the favour of the Lord is for a lifetime (Psalm 30:5), a beautiful rainbow will soon appear. When the job of pruning is done, the joy of fruitfulness in abundance abides always. You saw that proved in Job 42:12-17;
- To those who alone must tread the path of challenges with integrity maintained we owe the debt of support, continued support and prayers;
- To those called to support, strive to do all you can without grumbling and complaining so we may continue to shine as the lights we were made to be in the midst of a crooked and perverse, twisted generation (Philippians 2:14,15). This way you will also be working out your own salvation with fear and with trembling (Colossians 3:23, 25 TPT)
Shalom
