The Scriptures highlight the significance of integrity in shaping one’s character and guiding one’s actions. Consider the following scriptures:

• Proverbs 10:9 (NIV) states, “Whoever walks in integrity walks securely, but whoever takes crooked paths will be found out.” This verse emphasizes that those who maintain integrity in their ways will lead a stable and secure life, free from the fear of being exposed for deceitful practices.
• Proverbs 11:3 (NIV), declares, “The integrity of the upright guides them, but the unfaithful are destroyed by their duplicity.” This passage underscores that integrity serves as a moral compass, guiding individuals in making righteous decisions and avoiding the pitfalls of deceit.
• In the New Testament, the apostle Paul also underscores the importance of integrity in his letter to the Ephesians.
