If only we are conscious of this:

The Lord looketh from heaven; he beholdeth all the sons of men. From the place of his habitation he looketh upon all the inhabitants of the earth (Psalm 33:13-14).

Then they that feared the Lord spake often one to another: and the Lord hearkened, and heard it, and a book of remembrance was written before him for them that feared the Lord, and that thought upon his name (Malachi 3:16).

The Lord God looks down and sees all who dwell on the face of this earth, from generation to generation, from day to day! The wicked, who depart from Him will not go unpunished.

What’s comforting is the assurance concerning those who fear Him. He keeps records that will outlast our individual times here on earth, and whatever the suffering endured here (apparent or real) works a greater weigh of glory for them. Rejoice and be glad is you fear the Lord.
