Then He said to the crowd, “If any of you wants to be My follower, you must give up your own way, take up your cross daily, and follow Me (Luke 9:23 NLT).

An incontestable demand is placed on every true believer, a three step command to follow, viz

• Turn from your selfish ways, your desires, ambitions and conveniences;
• Carry or shoulder your cross or as some other translations put it, carry His cross daily; and
• Follow Him.

Only you can determine what those ambitions, or desires or conveniences are, so is it your decision of choice to make to heed the Master’s call and to follow Him. Will you make that decision today or………?
