For our sake He made Christ [virtually] to be sin Who knew no sin, so that in and through Him we might become [endued with, viewed as being in, and examples of] the righteousness of God [what we ought to be, approved and acceptable and in right relationship with Him, by His goodness]. 2 Corinthians 5:21 (AMPC)
Your crucifixion with Christ has severed the tie to this life, and now your true life is hidden away in God in Christ. And as Christ himself is seen for who he really is, who you really are will also be revealed, for you are now one with him in his glory. Colossians 3:3-4 (TPT)
What an irony? Our texts today indict us if we fail to recognize the foundation we build upon. The word describes how we are seen by our heavenly Father! This is food for thought, severed from this life and hidden with Christ.
Positionally, God sees each of us in Christ; complete in Him, justified and accepted in the beloved.
Every spiritual blessing in the heavenly realm has already been lavished upon us as a love gift from our wonderful heavenly Father, the Father of our Lord Jesus—all because he sees us wrapped into Christ. This is why we celebrate him with all our hearts. Ephesians 1:3 (TPT)
He raised us up with Christ the exalted One, and we ascended with him into the glorious perfection and authority of the heavenly realm, for we are now co-seated as one with Christ! Ephesians 2:6 (TPT)
Conditionally, we may be a work-in-progress, but He doesn’t give up on us. So, when we falter and blow it, there is room for heart-based repentance. Shake off the guilt and move forward. If you live in guilt today because of yesterday, how will you have the strength to live in victory?
First be strong in His grace and sin no more, but more, reckon yourself so as Christ’s resurrection is your resurrection too. This is why we are to yearn for all that is above, for that’s where Christ sits enthroned at the place of all power, honor, and authority! Yes, feast on all the treasures of the heavenly realm and fill your thoughts with heavenly realities, and not with the distractions of the natural realm. Colossians 3:1-2 (TPT)
Would you think on these things?
