Beware for they have laid their net, do not be ensnared by their guile
Reading an article on how the corona-virus has affected the world in a publication of Open Democracy, this comment caught my attention. “In the hopes of ‘flattening the curve’ of the pandemic, vast swathes of society have adopted contagion-slowing practices (be they mandatory, voluntary or semi-voluntary, depending on the local legislature) known as ‘social distancing’ and ‘sheltering in place.’
It follows that, upon closer inspection, both terms – ‘social distancing’ and ‘sheltering in place’ – appear remarkable as much for what they don’t say (that is, what they presume and naturalize) as what they do. Sheltering in what place… and in whose? Distance from whom… or everyone but whom?”
Where is the place of shelter for you dear child of God? Do you remember that clip from the Secretary General of the United Nations of the remarkable increase in domestic violence and child abuse of all forms during this period of “stay home”? If you are not sensitive to the Holy Spirit you might be easily carried away by the lying spirit of this age working assiduously amongst the globalists and forget what these scriptures declare – Psalm 17:8, Psalm 27:5 and Psalm 31:20! Where is your place of shelter dear friend? If you know the Lord for the place of shelter, consciously confess it and ponder on it till you find rest in that word.
So, distance from who as the article asks? Remember the command to draw near? Be careful not to go in the direction of these confused people and remember Psalm 65:2 and James 4:8. Beware of the complicity of the globalist who have trapped the rulers of the nations in their net. Ponder on these things and act wisely in the Holy Spirit. Shalom.
Mimilicious
I draw near to God, because my redemption is closer than when I believe. Amen.
