Many today crowd around the Bible, the written Word but only those who “touch” the Scriptures in faith receive its promises, just like the sick woman received her healing.
The apostle Paul wrote, “Godliness with contentment is great gain… For the love of money is a root of all kinds of evil” (1 Timothy 6:6,10). These verses remind us of where our priorities are to be placed.
When it looks like God is silent, what do we do? Turn our backs and take our own decisions? Saul did that and he terminated his relationship with God irreversibly!
We persevere to receive. There is no shortcut to perseverance, just as Jesus did as was testified to in Hebrews 12:2.
When we pray for something that we are not sure is in keeping with the mind of God, we ought to say, “Lord, I desire this or that only if it fits Your plan for me and if it fits Your timing.”
Yahweh gave us the desire to know the future and also gives the seeking believer help to know it, when we seek according to His way! If we fail to do so, we will run and toil in travail under the burden stated in Ecclesiastes 3:10.
The Unchangeability or Immutability of God is that attribute that “God is unchanging in His character, will, and covenant promises. Yahweh is a spirit, whose being, wisdom, power, holiness, justice, goodness, and truth are infinite, eternal, and unchangeable.
What do your prayers reveal about what you think about God? Every prayer is a demonstration of what the pray-er thinks about God.
God hears our prayers and starts responding to them (when we pray with Daniel’s attitude and perspective) before we can see results, and even when we can’t see results at all.
