When the poor and needy search for water and there is none, and their tongues are parched from thirst, then I, the LORD, will answer them.
When the poor and needy search for water and there is none, and their tongues are parched from thirst, then I, the LORD, will answer them.
My child, never drift off course from these two goals for your life: to walk in wisdom and to discover your purpose.
If we are looking to drawing down power from His presence, this is the time to change, intentionally practising individual contemplation and internal prayer in our worship sessions.
There are no easy answers to our whys but we can take comfort and courage in this great Saviour who lives to intercede for us.
The dayspring brightness of the Message shines with Christ, who gives us the best picture of God we’ll ever get.
The wrath of God is revealed from heaven against all ungodliness and unrighteousness of men, who hold the truth in unrighteousness.
The anger that seeks retribution implies pride and a lack of confidence in the timing of God’s justice and a demonstration that we do not know God!
If you claim to be religious but don’t control your tongue, you are fooling yourself, and your religion is worthless.
Don’t let the passion of your emotions lead you to sin! Don’t let anger control you or be fuel for revenge, not for even a day.
If your reaction impairs your sensitivity to the instructions of the Lord the end can be a disastrous waste of all you have laboured to see.
