If we are to be a habitation for the coming Redeemer, we must first be willing to provide the tools and do the work necessary to build ourselves into a temple; we must keep ourselves clean, holy, sinless.
Yahweh is my strength and song, and he is become my salvation: he is my God, and I will prepare him an habitation; my father’s God, and I will exalt him.
Be well balanced and always alert, because your enemy, the devil, roams around incessantly, like a roaring lion looking for its prey to devour.
Remember God’s power for the future, remember His closeness to you, He who said He will not leave us as orphans and let the assurance of how He has led you in the past keep you strong.
Praise is first an act of one’s WILL. It is not an impulse, rather it is a conscious decision, regardless of our feelings or circumstance; it is like responding to a divine command.
Beloved, if there ever was a time to be filled with the abiding presence of Christ it is in these times.
Are you growing weary of racing against men? Renew your mind and remember that God has greater planned for you than this current suffering.
Whatever you face beloved, consider the plea made by the Lord in Matthew 11:28-30. Would you turn to Him and prove these words?
