How often do we think of God and the things that matter to Him and gladden His heart?
How often do we think of God and the things that matter to Him and gladden His heart?
Do not miss out on His guaranteed protection for this time. Do not emulate Satan’s foolishness in underestimating that God’s faithful love in keeping covenants.
As God declared the judgment of the nations in Amos 2, so is He speaking loudly and openly at this time to His children who He made spiritually alive.
Perhaps you feel like a smoking flax. Has your light simmered down until it just smokes, almost gone out? Are you discouraged because your light does not shine brightly?
Are you a broken reed? Are you no longer able to make sweet music in the service of the Lord? Reflect on this scripture — A bruised reed shall he not break.
The imagery of the reed as shown in the scriptures is that of a weak or impressionable person, and is symbolic of the frailty of our human condition.
In our endurance and extenuating circumstances, understand that you are where you are for a reason and for a season!
Are we again in this generation on the road to Emmaus? Filled with doubts about the soon return of the Lord? If we would at least speak like the faithful remnant and commune with one another would the Lord not draw near to help our unbelief?
If you believe God has called you, your response should be to bow down in humility before Him. Paul writes, ‘Walk with lowliness.”
Finish strong, my friends. Do not succumb to the passing pleasures of this life. Everything in this life is passing, but the promises of God stand forever
