How often do we think of God and the things that matter to Him and gladden His heart?
How often do we think of God and the things that matter to Him and gladden His heart?
Do not miss out on His guaranteed protection for this time. Do not emulate Satan’s foolishness in underestimating that God’s faithful love in keeping covenants.
As God declared the judgment of the nations in Amos 2, so is He speaking loudly and openly at this time to His children who He made spiritually alive.
Perhaps you feel like a smoking flax. Has your light simmered down until it just smokes, almost gone out? Are you discouraged because your light does not shine brightly?
Are you a broken reed? Are you no longer able to make sweet music in the service of the Lord? Reflect on this scripture — A bruised reed shall he not break.
The imagery of the reed as shown in the scriptures is that of a weak or impressionable person, and is symbolic of the frailty of our human condition.
In our endurance and extenuating circumstances, understand that you are where you are for a reason and for a season!
