The Times, The Church and Our Nation-Nigeria

The Times The Church and Our Nation-NigeriaWhy does Nigeria continually stand at the edge of crisis yet remain unbroken? In this timely and penetrating discourse, Pastor Afolabi Oladele reveals that Nigeria is a nation in divine destiny, chosen by God as an instrument of spiritual deliverance across the African continent.

Drawing profound parallels between Scripture and national heraldry, Pastor Afolabi Oladele decodes the spiritual significance of Nigeria’s Coat of Arms, contrasting the eagle’s strength and the horse’s call to selfless service against the destructive entrapment of the serpent spirit of corruption. He confronts a Church distracted by worldly prosperity and compromised alliances with godless rulers, delivering a sobering charge to return to scriptural standards of righteousness and holy conduct.

Exploring biblical patterns of deliverers and enforcers of righteousness such as Joseph and Daniel, this book challenges believers in public office to serve with unwavering integrity. Blending revelation with a clarion call to persistent prayer, this work equips the body of Christ to reclaim its mandate, defend truth, and fulfil Nigeria’s divine heritage.
