What Ministry Do You Operate? Predator of Easy Prey, Dispenser of False Doctrine?

Your congregation, their lifestyles and conversation will reflect or manifest what you have taught them and your own lifestyle. Every minister must check and ask himself what he is teaching or ministering. Are you a minister of sin, of lust, of money, of the world or of God (1 John 4:5; 2 Timothy 3:6).

Paul identifies or tells us of five different ministry markers

  1. A ministry of glory (2 Corinthians 3:7-8)
  2. A ministry that’s honest and tested or tried (2 Corinthians 4)
  3. A confident ministry (2 Corinthians 5:1-10)
  4. A reconciliation ministry (2 Corinthians 5:11-20)
  5. A suffering ministry (2 Corinthians 6:1-10)

That’s a checklist against which you measure your service; not nephilistic wicked impostors that are seeking status recognition like the men of renown (Genesis 6:4)!

Your attributes or character are reflected or manifest in the lives of the congregation or followers (1 Corinthians 3:4-6 NLT). The congregation remains the evidence of what you minister; they are the letter of Christ written by the Spirit of Christ only cared for by you, through the grace and help of Christ the Lord and Master! By His help and unction, you minister His Spirit, not letters of the law (dos and don’ts) but the working of God’s Spirit in their hearts. So, do the self-check and see if you will be approved of the Lord or condemned as a worker of iniquity (Matthew 7:21-23)! Selah.
