Unprecedented times as the world is facing, the hardships, the insecurity and palpable hopelessness, bring men to the valley of weariness, despair and anguish; discouraged we wonder where is God?

Paul didn’t let that shame that came from the cross (his being in prison) become so important that he failed to do what God wanted him to do.

The cross is an instrument of shame but no longer carries the impact it should. It has become a fashion symbol as part of jewellery accessories without any thought about the shame that was associated with such a death.
