The Almighty, The Judge of Every Nation — Isaiah 14:24,26-27

As the nations of the world reel from the tariff storm of Agenda 47, and the people groan under the burden of readjustment called for by the decision of the ruler of modern day ‘Nineveh’ we must never forget the words of our text for today

The Lord of hosts hath sworn, saying, Surely as I have thought, so shall it come to pass; and as I have purposed, so shall it stand…This is the purpose that is purposed upon the whole earth: and this is the hand that is stretched out upon all the nations. For the Lord of hosts hath purposed, and who shall disannul it? and his hand is stretched out, and who shall turn it back?

So, if He has determined it to be so at this time, should we not be turning to Him for the wisdom to navigate the times? He declared in Isaiah 45:7

I form the light, and create darkness: I make peace, and create evil: I the Lord do all these things

As He declared the judgment of the nations in Amos 2, so is He speaking loudly and openly at this time. But with the same affirmation to the church in the wilderness in Deuteronomy 7:6, He speaks with the same intensity and affirmation in Ephesians 2:1-7 to His children today. He speaks to you and to me who He made spiritually alive, re-connected to God

And you hath he quickened, who were dead in trespasses and sins; Wherein in time past ye walked according to the course of this world, according to the prince of the power of the air, the spirit that now worketh in the children of disobedience: Among whom also we all had our conversation in times past in the lusts of our flesh, fulfilling the desires of the flesh and of the mind; and were by nature the children of wrath, even as others. But God, who is rich in mercy, for his great love wherewith he loved us, Even when we were dead in sins, hath quickened us together with Christ, (by grace ye are saved;) And hath raised us up together, and made us sit together in heavenly places in Christ Jesus: That in the ages to come he might shew the exceeding riches of his grace in his kindness toward us through Christ Jesus.

Did you note the underlined part of the scripture? He promised to show the exceeding riches of His grace, in His kindness to us through the Lord Jesus Christ. Are you reconnected to Him? (Romans 5:17,1-2).

PLEASE take heed for your reconnection to Him is vital to your individual survival in the face of the church in the nation having become the store of violence, greed and oppression and robbery. Amos 3:9-15 is looming and hovering for fulfilment upon the church in Nigeria! Selah
