The Law Of Worship

“And the prophets shall become wind, and the word is not in them: thus shall it be done unto them.” Jeremiah 5:13

On one hand, you see the production of judgement, the exaltation of God and his power, on the other hand you see the element of the secret of worship that what a man sees, what a man beholds, is what he becomes. On one hand judgement of Babylon, on the other hand, the exaltation of God and embedded in there, the very first principle that God sets in the things that we behold that show the place of worship and praise with the living God.

The hydrological cycle is the process of rainmaking; and with this. God is showing to the people what praise means and what praise also does.

The hydrological cycle – the sun shines in its brightness, causes evaporation across the earth, the evaporation gathers and becomes cloud, the cloud becomes saturated, then the rains come down again in the blessing. That’s exactly the way praise is supposed to be, and that’s what God began to speak in that Scripture. Each time you remember the blessings of God: the blessings of going out and okada did not hit you while you were on the road; the blessings of coming home, “one chance” did not catch you; the blessings of waking up in the morning alive and in good health; you have to give God praise.

Many of you can see your children alive and strong, the blessings of the fruits of your body; the works of your hand God has prospered, and in different dimensions, you are beholding God’s blessings. When you remember these blessings, it’s like the sun in the heaven, shining, giving warmth in your heart, let it cause praise to rise to heaven. And as you find praise beginning to coagulate, God causes the rain to come down.

“Seek him that maketh the seven stars and Orion, and turneth the shadow of death into the morning, and maketh the day dark with night: that calleth for the waters of the sea, and poureth them out upon the face of the earth: The LORD is his name:” Amos 5:8

On every occasion that you seek to praise God, you need to understand what you are doing, that you are actually making rain for yourself. Every time that you sing praises, you are making rains of blessing for yourself. “It is he that buildeth his stories in the heaven, and hath founded his troop in the earth; he that calleth for the waters of the sea, and poureth them out upon the face of the earth: The LORD is his name.” Amos 9:6

“Sing unto the LORD with thanksgiving; sing praise upon the harp unto our God:” Psalm 147:7

Everyone of these people (Amos, Jeremiah, David) understood that when praises move, showers of blessings come upon God’s people. In Job 36, you find the same things spoken about the rain. The manner in which God causes His blessings to return unto you, follows the same cycle that you see in mundane things. Do you want God to begin to change situation in your life? Then understand the power of worship, the law of worship and the way God works.

The amount of praise that rises up determines the level of blessing that comes upon God’s people. Our liberality, your liberality, my liberality in declaring forth the praise of our God also prompts His response to us in different dimensions. Let it no longer be that someone would have to beg you to praise God before you open your mouth in praise to God.  When you worship, when you praise God, don’t you feel the lightness that it brings in your system?  Don’t you see the freedom that comes to you? Don’t you see the way your heart bubbles with joy and the pains in your body go away? These are the direct response of the Eternal God showing you the way He’s working with His people.

“All the rivers run into the sea; yet the sea is not full; unto the place from whence the rivers come, thither they return again.” Ecl. 1:7

If you look at the water cycle, when the vapours go up and the rains of blessings come down, these rains are the same ones that form the rivers, which go back to the oceans.  For a people that understand the praise of God and live in it, the river of blessings that flows forth from them is inexhaustible. I need to say this because that’s what Satan uses to bring about complaints and to truncate the blessings of God in your lives.  Young man, God takes you and puts around you responsibilities that are proportional to the blessings that He has put upon your head, and necessarily when the rain comes, not only are you blessed but the river that flows forth is inexhaustible. Stop whining, stop complaining, recognize the power of Him that has put things upon your life.

In the same manner in which the ascent of praise brings about blessing, so does the ascent of complaints brings about truncation of the blessing. In the place of praise, blessings are expected. “If the clouds be full of rain, they empty themselves upon the earth: and if the tree fall toward the south, or toward the north, in the place where the tree falleth, there it shall be” (Eccl. 11:3). If heaven is full of your praise, heaven has no choice than to rain down blessings on you.  And as you continue in the praise of God in these times of judgment, you’ll begin to see that God will make you an island of greatness in the desert that surrounds you.  Quit complaining, start to praise the Lord God.

“Then shall we know, if we follow on to know the LORD: his going forth is prepared as the morning; and he shall come unto us as the rain, as the latter and former rain unto the earth” (Hosea 6:3 ). Anyone who understands the agricultural cycle in Israel, understands that the early rain is used to soften the ground so that the seed can be planted. The latter rain that comes during the summer period allows the seed that is planted to mature for the harvest. God is applying this principle of the Law of Worship in the middle of judgement, to let us know that these things are going to be intensified in the times of the latter and the former rain when God is about to make mature and bring home the harvest.

“Drop down, ye heavens, from above, and let the skies pour down righteousness: let the earth open, and let them bring forth salvation, and let righteousness spring up together; I the LORD have created it” (Isaiah 45:8).

“Ask ye of the LORD rain in the time of the latter rain; so the LORD shall make bright clouds, and give them showers of rain, to every one grass in the field.” (Zech. 10:1).

In this times as we wait in expectancy for the Lord, it is your praise abundantly going up to Him that will trigger God’s liberality in bringing forth the revival that we are waiting for. Be patient therefore my brethren unto the coming of the Lord. Behold the husbandman waited for the precious forth of the earth and at long patience for it, unless it receive the early and the latter rain together (James 5:7). God is speaking to His people in these times concerning the judgment that is coming, and the portion that belongs to you is the praise and worship of Him.

After God talked about the principle of praise and the law of worship, he draws our attention to the fact that every man is brutish in their knowledge, by the images that they have made to themselves. “Every man is brutish by his knowledge; every founder is confounded by the graven image: for his molten image is falsehood, and there is no breath in them” (Jer. 51:17).What are you worshiping, what is most important to you? The only thing that can fit into the merchandise being described in these Scriptures, Isaiah 23:13-18 Ezekiel 27:3-25, is the stock market. The stock market is making people rich and some will be so focused on their stocks that Jeremiah 51 will be fulfilled in their lives – every man is brutish according to what he is worshipping; what he places before himself. I am not against people playing in the stock market but it is what you do with the profits (money) at the end of the day that determines your destiny. And as you begin to understand these, position yourself because there is an end that is appointed, that what a man sees, what a man beholds, what a man worships is what he becomes.  If the rewards of your merchandise have become something that you use to make idols to yourself, you become like your idols.

Many of you will  remember the story of Jacob and Laban in Genesis 30:25-43 when Jacob wanted to return to his father’s house, and Laban asked him to name his wages so he would pay him.  Jacob said he would take all the goats that were streaked and spotted as his wages. But God revealed to Jacob that if he put branches that were spotted and speckled where the sheep and goats would see them while they were drinking from the water trough, then when the goats mated there in front of the branches, the offspring they produced would be spotted and speckled, establishing the principle of what a man beholds is what he becomes.

When the Israelites made a golden calf and began to bow to it, God said they changed their glory to that of cow that eats grass. They made a calf in Horeb, and worshipped the molten image. Thus they changed their glory into the similitude of an ox that eateth grass (Psa. 106:19-20). What are you worshipping? What is number one in your life?  What a man thinks about the most, tells you who his god is. So much is said concerning prosperity but nobody has been warned that the Law of Worship prevails. When you worship God in the manner that I’ve shown you according to the hydrological cycle, and let your praise rise, the blessings of God will come to you. You become more like God when you praise God, but you become more like money when you hurry after money.

In Romans 1:20-25 because these people worshiped and served the creature more than the Creator, they also became senseless people, they became exactly what they set their faces to be.

Do you want to remain a happy people, a blessed people? Then understand the power of praise.  Responsibilities will not cease until Jesus comes, but He is an inexhaustible source when you allow praise to overcome complaints.  The degree of your praise to God is the degree of rain, of blessings that He will cause to come upon you, and not only on your lives as individuals but also upon our nation. For those that understand the way God is working in these times, concerning this nation, let it be praise, no more curses, no more complaints.
